Inventors and Pioneers have thoroughly enjoyed their DT morning creating, testing and evaluating their balloon-powered cars!
The children bought their designs to life, using a selection of materials and joining methods to create their cars. We had great fun testing them on our 'racetrack' all together (and saw some excellent skids/turns on the course!). The children worked excellently together and we were very impressed with the level of discussion around things that went well and areas for development. After our work across the term on Henry Ford and the assembly line, it was lovely to see the children sharing roles and ensuring that everyone had a job and everyone had a turn. Fantastic work Years 5 and 6 - what a lovely morning!
