News Stories Doods Performance Year 4 in Voyagers and Discoverers treated their families to a special musical experience this week! Moments and Memories with Buddies! Y6 had a final get together with their buddies this afternoon. They shared some of their fantastic learning from the year and sang the 'Pirate' song all together (that they used to sing when Y6 were in Explorers!). Forest School Fun! Year 6 had a very relaxed Forest School session this week and enjoyed many different activities whilst reminiscing about all their Forest School afternoons from their time at Bishop. The Black Hole As part of our new Literacy unit, Pioneers and Inventors have been using the Literacy Shed film 'The Black Hole' to think about what might happen if a black hole were to appear in Bishop... Growing This term, the children have thoroughly enjoyed watching our sweet peas, beans and sunflowers grow, observing the changes that have taken place over time Making swings KS1 have been researching, testing and designing stable swings for a toy playground, now we are making! Y6 Digital Music Year 6 have been working really hard over the last few weeks, with music specialist Lisa Wall, to create their own digital music. Super Statistics! Voyagers and Discoverers are finding out all about mathematical information conveyed in the form of pictograms, bar charts and line graphs. Seaside! At Preschool we have been talking about the seaside and the things that we see, smell and hear while spending time on and around the beach. Incredible prototype creators. Discoverers' and Voyagers' classrooms transformed into a bustling design studios this week as the children took complete control in starting to create miniature playground apparatus prototypes.
