    • Dog's Trust Visit
      KS1 were visited by Emily from the 'Dog's Trust' and learnt how to make sure we keep the dogs in our lives feeling happy, safe and comfortable.
    • Dog's Trust
      Pioneers and Inventors enjoyed listening to our wonderful visitor from the Dog's Trust in workshops today.   Children showed great interactive and listening skills, ensuring that fascinating facts were discovered. 
    • Dog Trust Visit
      The Explorers demonstrated great listening skills during our wonderful workshop today. They loved meeting Emily's toy dogs and finding out how to stay safe and happy around real dogs.
    • Handball
      This half term Inventors and Pioneers have been developing their handball skills.
    • Open the Bible
      This week we were treated to a fantastic 'Open the Bible' assembly and it was Year 5 and 6's turn to participate!
    • Making Moving Pictures
      Our Year 1 pupils were really focused when making levers in DT today. They followed a set of instructions to make a moving Jack and the Beanstalk picture. They had to decide the best length for their lever and where to position the pivot!
    • Impressionist Art
      Children in Years 5 & 6 have started researching famous impressionist artists in preparation for their own impressionist style paintings later on this half term.
    • Drawing Club
      The Explorers enjoyed joining in with their first Drawing Club sessions during our Literacy this week!
    • DT Mechanisms
      In Voyagers and Discoverers, we have started to learn about the linkages and levers that are used in moving picture books. We will eventually making our own moving picture page.
    • Art - Salvador Dali
      This week in Art, the children explored the fascinating world of surrealism in preparation for creating their own surreal paintings inspired by the work of Salvador Dalí.
