News Stories World Book Day in Our Class Today we celebrated World Book Day with a fun space-themed reading adventure. The classroom was full of excitement as children explored stories, shared books, and spent extra time enjoying reading for pleasure. Fantastic Forest School! Year 4 enjoyed their first Forest School session in school this week! Working as a Scientist Science lessons for Voyagers and Discoverers this half term are all about scientific thinking. Varjak Paw - Hot Seating In English, this week, Voyagers and Discoverers have been exploring how vocabulary choices can impact the reader through our class text, Varjak Paw by S. F. Said. Exploring sculpture and sculpting materials Voyagers and Discoverers have thrown themselves into our new art block of sculpture by learning about Barabara Hepworth and exploring clay. Maya Day Adventures: Learning, Tasting, and Creating Together Today, Voyagers and Discoverers marked the end of their learning journey on the Maya civilisation with a truly memorable and immersive Maya Day. Safer internet day- Looking at uses of AI To mark Safer internet day and the theme of ‘Smart tech, safe choices- Exploring Safe and Responsible use of AI’, Voyagers and Discoverers have spent time learning and reflecting of AI in the modern world. Smart Feet, Soft Hands: This Week in PE This week in PE we continue to work on badminton skills! Brilliant Badminton! Voyagers and Discoverers have been developing their skills in badminton lessons this half term. Exploring Childhood in Maya Society Today in History, we have been learning about the lives of children in Maya society. The class explored the differences between childhoods for the rich and the poor.
