Pioneers and Inventors have had a wonderful end to our ‘Get Inspired’ unit and really thought carefully about their balloon-powered car designs.
After looking at the work of Henry Ford and using his ideas about the production line to work more efficiently as a team and ensure everyone had a role/job, the children had a really good go at creating balloon-powered cars that were streamlined and took into consideration air resistance and friction.
It was so lovely to see them working so collaboratively as a team and hearing their discussions around how they could adapt their designs to overcome challenges. AMAZING team work Years 5 & 6! We loved watching you race your cars and our friendly competition was a great way to bring our unit to a close. Great job!
