Over this half term, we have been learning all about the Anglo-Saxons in our Topic lessons.
Now, we are going to use our learning to produce a visually engaging, technically accurate, informative fact file about the Anglo-Saxons in our Literacy lessons. We have started off looking at the different features of information texts to help us consider formality, layout and to help us identify all the key SPaG features that we will need to replicate in our own writing. The children have been amazing at recalling key facts and spotting the sorts of technical language they will need to use in their own pieces. We can't wait to see the final result!
