Due to recent feedback from children through school council and class conversations, the teachers have decided to give children more of a choice when it comes to selecting their home learning. Also, we have decided to award house points for those children who are completing tasks and handing them in on time as this highlights their ability to take responsibility for their own learning. We have tried to include a range of tasks that appeal to a variety of different learning styles in the hope that more children will engage with their home learning. We believe this is a very important part of their learning journey and so, are keen to hear both yours and the children's feedback - look out for a survey soon! Just a reminder that home learning is given out on a Tuesday and is expected to be returned the following Monday. It is the child's responsibility to ask their teacher for a new homework sheet if it has been lost or they are absent on the day it is handed out. We are very much looking forward to seeing, discussing and celebrating a variety of completed homework tasks next week and we thank you in advance for your support.
