Fraction Museum28 January 2019 (by admin) |
Today the children in years 5 and 6 created their own exhibits for a fraction museum.
Children worked in pairs, small groups or independently to show their understanding of fractions. They used cubes, LEGO, shapes, pens and other concrete objects to show a wide range of simple and more challenging fractions. The children also had to create a label to accompany their exhibit. The Pioneers and Inventors then switched classes to view each other's creations. What a fantastic way to start our learning about fractions!
