In English this week, the children used many skills to research facts about the Ancient Mayas to help them write their own information page.
As a start to our new English focus on non-chronological reports, the children explored a variety of information books about the Ancient Maya. They also used this time, to become 'an expert' in an area of the Ancient Maya and collect facts. It was great to see the collaboration between the teams and see how confidently the they read the range of books and discussed important facts as a group.
