The children took part in role play and posed to show snapshots from different parts of the story.
The children have been familiarising themselves with 'The Blue House', which we are basing our writing on for the next few weeks. As part of this, the children retold and role played the story to help them remember all the key details. They posed in freeze frames to show what was happening in the story, focusing on facial expressions and body language to show how the characters were feeling at different points through the story.
By the end, they were all very confident that they would be able to apply the structure of this story to their own in the coming weeks.
