Using historical sources of information22 October 2024 (by admin) |
This week, to end their learning about Prehistoric Britain, the children explored a variety of sources of evidence linked to Iron Age religion
The children had to carefully look at different sources of information, that has been found or created, linked to Iron Age religion. They had to decide if it was reliable and what information they could gather from it. The range of sources included; an extract from book by Julius Caesar, images of bronze statues found and sketches and drawings based on historians findings. It was brilliant to see children discussing what they thought about the source of information and what they learnt from it. Fantastic historical enquiry skills were shown.
