  • Music
The children really enjoyed playing our new recorders and xylophones today! They learnt the notes C and D and how to play a tune in time with each other!
  • Telling the Time
To help us learn to tell the time we made some clocks. We set each other challenges using the clocks to solve them. Our best questions was... 'What is the time when the big hand and the small hand are both pointing to 3?' ' It's home time!'
  • Shaldon Zoo Visit
Shaldon Zoo came to visit us last week
  • Stover Trip
KS1 trip to Stover this week
  • Madagascan Collages
The children have enjoyed comparing Teignmouth with Madagascar this term. They made collages of Morondava landscapes last week, making great choices on materials to use that would represent the stifling heat of the sun or the rough bark of a tree!
  • Matching Numbers
To help us understand numbers and improve our counting skills we have been matching numbers. Well done to Theo!
  • Maths learning
Adding 10s to 2 digit numbers
  • Lily and the Snow Bear Pavilions Theatre
The children were very excited from start to finish! There were many memorable moments; a snow ball fight, a giant snow bear, a baby snow bear, a wolf, a hot air balloon, Miss Bruen on stage and most importantly... a happy ending!
  • Trip to Teignmouth Fire Station
Both classes really enjoyed their trip on Monday. The children were able to ask questions, stand inside the fire engine and look closely at the uniform that is designed to keep the fire fighters safe.
  • Great Fire of London Dressing Up Day
We had an exciting day acting out different scenes as well as interviewing Samuel Pepys! In this photo we are pulling down the burning houses with hooks, Samuel Pepys is checking his diary and people are escaping in boats on the River Thames!
