• Y5/6 Football Tournament
  14 children from our Years 5 and 6 competed in a football tournament against other local schools last night at TCS. They had 7 mini games in total in two teams and did not stop running for the whole 90 minutes!
• Ice Experiment
  Jack Frost had frozen some toys in ice and the Explorers had to find a way to free them!
• Forest School
  We had great fun at forest school. We spent time working together. We hunted for smooth, rough, long and squishy things! We look forward to next week...
• Zips!
  This week, one of our funky fingers challenge has been putting our coats on independently!
• Treasure Maps
  In phonics we have been learning the phoneme X.
• Story Hats
  Brown Bear, Brown Bear is our new story.
• Bean Bag Number Bonds
  In our maths learning we have been exploring different ways to partition and show numbers to 5.
• Poetry
  Linking to our new topic of the Victorians, we have been exploring a poem from Robert Louis Stevenson.
• Community Champions in 2020!
  Our wonderful Pupil Leadership group started 2020 in the way that they ended the last year- by making a difference to members of our local community.
• DT project
  This week we made bridges in Design and Technology. First, we designed our bridge, then measured the wood before sawing and constructing it. The purpose of the bridge was to cross a river and to be strong enough to hold five toy cars.
