We also brought in our teddies! Anti-Bullying Week We have been thinking about respect during this years Anti-Bullying Week. We talked about how we show respect and why this is important. Money This week in our maths learning we have been exploring money. Anti-Bullying Week This week years 5 and 6 will be spending some time focusing on cyber bullying. WW1 Soldiers and Sailors of Bishopsteignton On Monday, the Pioneers and Inventors were pleased to welcome a special guest speaker from the village, Jess. Great Fire of London Dressing Up Day We had an exciting day acting out different scenes as well as interviewing Samuel Pepys! In this photo we are pulling down the burning houses with hooks, Samuel Pepys is checking his diary and people are escaping in boats on the River Thames! Remembrance Day We have been thinking about Remembrance Day in Year 3/4 today.
Each child decorated several poppies using paint, pens, wool, sponges and glitter to create a collabrative piece of art work that is now displayed in our library. Pupils Filmed for BBC Spotlight Five of our Year 5 and 6 pupils attended the War Memorial today, where a crew from BBC Spotlight filmed them. Hopefully they will appear at 6.30pm tonight. Bonfire Night is Here Again! On Monday we helped Bananas to think about how to keep safe on Bonfire night.
We enjoyed listening to firework sounds, learning a new song and creating fire work pictures using beads, bows and lots of glittery things.
