  As part of our topic: Worldwide History, we have been finding out what food the Ancient Maya used to eat and how they grew the food or hunted it.
• A visit from the dentist
  As part of our RHE learning KS1 had a visit from the dentist
• Porridge
  We found a basket of ingredients and a recipe to help us make our own porridge.
• Evolutionary Experimenters!
  In our Science learning we have been looking at how plants and animals have adapted to suit their environment over time.
• Teddy Bear Day
  Following on from our key text, The Three Bears, the children were invited to bring their bears and soft toys to school.
• Volleyball skills
  The children have been learning different types of shots used in the game volleyball. This week, they focused on learning the dig shot.
• Preparing for our non-chronological reports
  In English this week, the children used many skills to research facts about the Ancient Mayas to help them write their own information page.
• Ceilidh Dancing
  Inventors and Pioneers are making excellent progress with their social dancing!
• Music
  In lessons this week, Pioneers and Inventors are developing their performance skills by improvising music using the glockenspiels.
