• Poppy knitting
  Last Thursday, 4th October, year 5 and 6 were lucky enough to be visited by the Bishopsteignton knitting group.
• Counting Skills!
  Lana and Amber threaded 136 beads. They not only worked well as a team, but showed fantastic counting skills!
• Mathematical Thinking!
  Last week in class we were representing number bonds!
• Libraries Week!
  Just a reminder that we will be celebrating Libraries Week next week! We would like to encourage children, staff and families to "Switch Off. Pick up a Book!" and discover the benefits of doing so.
• Sharing our Maya Myths
  We have now finished out myths based on the Maya Creation Story.
• Partitioning and Compact Method!
  This week we have enjoyed our new unit - Additive Reasoning. We started by partitioning numbers and representing this on a place value chart.
• Funky Finger Funky!
  We had fun using the shaving foam to write our letter shapes!
• Story Telling
  We had a video message asking us for help!
• Power it Up!
  In Science, Year 3/4 have been constructing simple electrical circuits as well as naming its basic parts, including cells, wires, bulbs and switches.
• Living History Group
  On Monday, we had a visit from the Living History Group who talked to us about what life was like in World War 1 for the soldiers in the trenches. We asked lots of questions and found out lots about the equipment and weapons used.
