    • School Council Presentations
      Wow! Some brilliant presentations today from children hoping to be voted the next school council representatives. The children presented their ideas clearly and confidently and it was clear that lots of effort went into their presentations.
    • Y4 Tag Rugby at TCS
      Our Y4 pupils have enjoyed another positive experience practising their Tag Rugby skills alongside children from other local schools.
    • WW1 Newspaper Writing
      One of the first pieces of writing we will be working on are newspaper articles. Historic Newspapers (https://www.historic-newspapers.co.uk/) have provided us with WW1 Newspapers that we hope to be able to share with 5/6. Thank you Historic Newspapers!
    • 100% Attendance Celebrated!
      Today we have been celebrating all of the pupils that managed 100% attendance in the 2017-2018 academic year.
    • 14.9.18- What a fantastic 2 weeks we have had!
      We have been very busy learning our class charters, new routines and starting new learning! In Maths we have been thinking about place value, adding and subtracting 10/100 and 1000 as well as exploring representations of 3 and 4 digit numbers.

    • WW1 Scrapbooks
      Our scrapbooks have been started with children enjoying getting stuck in! These will include lots of information including letters, poems, narratives, diary entries and more more wonderful things!
    • Children enjoy another 'Open the Book' assembly!
      The children today enjoyed another popular 'Open the Book' assembly. Today's performance saw 'The Storm on the Lake' story retold and helped the children think about feeling worried but trusting other people.
    • New 'What's Happening' sheets out later this week......
      Look out for the new curriculum sheets coming home soon for this term's topic- 'Time Travellers'
    • Welcome to the New Year!
      It has been a great first week in Pioneers and Inventors! All of the new pupils are settling in well. Welcome back to Mrs Dunn and 'hello' to Mr Smith!
